received the 2015 Marine Fisheries Enforcement
Officer of the Year award from the Governor’s
Conservation Achievement Awards Program.
He’s a North Carolina Marine Patrol officer.
Mark Joseph Molner ’ 10 and Colleen Elizabeth
Forcina ’ 10 married May 16, 2015, and live in
Charlotte, N.C. He’s a field service engineer
with LabCorp. Sarah Watts ’ 10 of Statesville, N.C.,
joined the Currituck County (N.C.) Cooperative Extension as agriculture technician. She
had been a technician with the N.C. Division
of Marine Fisheries.
2011 Heather Nicole Jarrell ’ 11 and Eric Scott married Oct. 3, 2015, and live in
& Harzog LLP as an associate attorney. He focuses
on the representation of health-care providers.
2008 Linda Buck Alexander ’08 EDD of Ahoskie, N.C., received the 2015
Faculty Member of the Year Award at Roanoke-Chowan Community College in Ahoskie. She’s
the acting chair of the Arts and Sciences Division
and a mathematics instructor. Hattie Lee Hammonds
’08 MED of Fayetteville, N.C., earned her doctorate
in educational leadership from Clemson University.
Brian Cedric McNeill ’08 of Dunn, N.C., is director
of the Dunn Parks & Recreation Department.
He’s a former assistant athletics director.
2009 Geoffrey Byron Hawthorne ’09 MSA of Youngsville, N.C., was selected
2015–16 Principal of the Year in the Franklin
County school system. He’s the principal at Edward
Best Elementary School. Brittney D. Kelly ’09 of
Durham, N.C., was hired as transportation planning engineer in Dewberry’s Raleigh office.

Table, a donation-based nonprofit
café that aims to provide healthy
meals for every diner regardless of
means. The restaurant is planned
